Table read Act One
Put together a group of friends and sit down at a table together. Assign a character to each of your friends and one to read narration. You, the writer, should not be a reader, you need to listen to your work and observe. Have the group read through the first seven chapters. Take notes, discuss items of concern, then revise your first act with the good feedback from your friends and your own assessments of the script.
